People, walking the streets
With beautiful smile on their faces
But with flicking thoughts of despair
Taking the day's order

They walk all alone, abandoned
In the midst of terrifying thoughts
Sometimes they cry aloud when it's too hard
To bear, how they wish they weren't born

Their hope, almost drowned away
By the sand of nothingness
Miming the rhythm of desolation
Always awake counting stars amid shadows

You see them laugh aloud
At the least of funny talks
But a way of taming every bit of cruelty
Life has on them, imposed, crummy indeed

It's all a façade I know
Just a little step further
Will bring the turnaround yet wanted
Patience is all that is required.

SEE-THROUGH GLASSES

Buy me a gift, a see-through glasses
to see beneath the ocean
and through the sand within
to see every creature
that has made a pact with the waters
as they crawl into their flaccid abode
but i wonder if i really can.

To what length can i see
with my see-through glasses?
can it see the far distance from nigh
without an impediment from the yet unseen?
how far could the farthest distance be
until the sight of nothingness is beheld?
it's as though a mirage, my see-through glasses.

we walk through and through
into the hallway of timelessness
to see what resides in between.
Ordinarily we couldn't have seen
with our see-through glasses because
the depts of love cannot be seen
but the height of it can always be felt.
